Brahmin convention inaugurated in Nashik city

Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Karvir Peeth inaugurated the 6th All India Multilingual Brahmin Convention here today. Maharashtra deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal was also present at the inauguration.

Over 350 representatives from across the country are participating in the two-day convention which will discuss various issues facing the community.

The convenors have appealed to all sects of Brahmins to unite under one banner.

The convention is being attended by scholars, industrialists, artists among others.
