Four children injured in blast near army camp in Nashik

Four children were injured when a bomb-like object exploded this afternoon near the Devlali Army Camp near here.

The children were playing in the Charanwadi area when they found a bomb-like object, army sources said.

The children fiddled the object and also threw stones at it when suddenly it exploded causing them minor injuries, the sources said.

Three of the four children identified as -- Ashok Manjulkar (7), Vishal Jadhav (8) and Sunil Devkar (12) -- are undergoing treatment at the Devlali Cantonment hospital, while one has been discharged, they said.
