Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's (NDMVPS) Medical College at Adgaon, Nashik has been renamed as Dr Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. A renaming ceremony was organised on Sunday. State home minister RR Patil, minister for cooperatives and marketing Harshawardhan Patil and former speaker of the assembly Arun Gujrathi were present. "We did not agree with changing the hospital's name when it was proposed in the general body meeting.
