With just a day left for the poll
campaigning, candidates from 15 assembly seats here tried
their best to reach out to electorates throughout the day.
Prominent candidates are Maharashtra Deputy Chief
Minister Chagan Bhujbal, Minister of State for Public Health
Shobha Bachhav, Bhujbal's son Pankaj contesting on NCP tickets
from Yeola, Nashik (central) and Nandgaon constituencies who
undertook door-to-door campaign today.
Top leaders including Congress President Sonia Gandhi,
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Union Agriculture
Minister Sharad Pawar, CPM leaders Brinda Karat, Sitaram
Yechuri, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, MNS leader Raj
Thackeray, Shiv Sena's Udhhav Thackeray and Manohar Joshi and
BJP's Gopinath Munde and Nitin Gadkari addressed public
meetings for candidates of their respective parties.
Issues like drinking water, construction of roads,
creating employment, beautification of the towns, and others
are being raised during the campaigning.
