Police here have arrested three persons, including two jewellers from Sangli region, and seized 22 kg of silver ornaments and idols from their possession.

Nashik Police Commissioner V D Mishra told reporters last evening that the three men were involved in thefts at temples at Nashik, Shahapur and Trimbakeshwar.

Names of the arrested persons are Vishal alias Shyam Baburao Jadhav (24), a resident of Nashik; and Uttam Namdev Mahadik (38) and Aba Anna Kale (21), both of whom are jewellers from Sangli.
