Nashik experience good rainfall

After dry-spell for the last few days, city experienced good rains today bringing cheers to the farmers, who were eagerly waiting for a good spell. According to the MET department, several parts of the district received good rainfall. As per collector office sources total 111.4 mm of rain recorded on Thursday, 28 mm in Igatpuri, Surgana 25 mm, Trimbakeshwar 16 mm, peint 15 mm. Nashik received only one mm rains, and also lowest rain recorded in Malegaon, Nandgaon, Chandvad, Kalwan, Baglan, Yeola and Niphad tehsils. While no rains recorded today in Deola, Sinnar tehsils, sources added. Nashik District average is 1075.77 mm of rains but since June 1 to july 10, 164.7 mm of rains recorded so far.
